The Unique American Experience

February 22, 2017 pwm1

It is amazing to consider how many people born in this country, as US citizens, have never assimilated into the American culture and embraced the ideals of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.  The concept of shunning victimhood status, working hard to make something of one’s life, and overcoming a seemingly endless stream of obstacles with faith and tenacity are foreign concepts to those who will never aspire to the American Dream.  Ironically, look at the work ethic and love of country embodied by so many who were raised under socialistic or totalitarian rule, immigrated here to become US citizens, and shun the idea of balkanization.
