The Power of Patience

June 1, 2021 pwm1

Our patience will achieve more than our force.

—Edmund Burke (1771, by Joshua Reynolds; Public Domain

Patience does not equate, in any manner, to standing still. Patience means taking constant, focused action toward a desired outcome despite the strong desire for that outcome to manifest immediately. Life is a series of tests. When we forge confidently ahead in the direction of our dreams, we plant the seeds of our ultimate success. Patience shows our inner strength; brute force generally lays bare our inner weaknesses and undermines our grand plans.
