Of course it is! Why, then, do we look back on our day and wonder what we accomplished? After all, we were busy the entire day, from morning until night. But what actions did we accomplish that moved us forward, toward our own personal objectives, as opposed to busy work that simply spent up the precious time in our day?
The key to our personal success, after defining where we want to go and mapping out our path, is to simply do the work—day in and day out—that will move us closer to that destination. And that means laying out what needs to get done before the day begins, and monitoring the day to assure we remain on track, despite all of the useless noise that will inevitably and chronically come our way.
