Pushing the Envelope

How will you know just how far you can go at any given point in time unless you are pushing the envelope? Testing the limits of what is possible can only be gauged by going beyond your comfort level. By doing so consistently, you not only test your limits, you extend them.

We’ve all done some audacious things in our lives that might make us cringe or perhaps get a little embarrassed as we look back on them. But let’s challenge that emotional response. Ask yourself a few questions about the incident. Did you survive? (Obviously you did.) Did you learn something from the experience? In the big scheme of things, did it really hurt you to go for it, regardless of the response? Life is not always about taking the most obvious or clearly marked route. Never be afraid to make bold moves, and then stand by your decision. You might even end up with a great story to tell down the road.
