Pressing Forward with Quiet Equanimity

Prosperity is no just scale; adversity is the only balance on which to weigh others.

Not everyone who enjoys a high level of prosperity in life has earned it through a baptism of fire. Many have, however, pressed on against all forms of adversity to achieve their aim, with little to no praise along the way. If respect is desired but doesn’t come, so be it! We keep moving forward! There is nothing noble in complaining that the odds are stacked against us. Nor is the purpose of life to gain accolades and win praise; it is to achieve spiritual growth by achieving our objectives no matter what stands in our way. Our obstacles exist by Design, and we are weighed by our actions in the face of adversity.
