Pasteur on Trust

November 5, 2020 pwm1

Do not let yourself be tainted with a barren skepticism.

— Louis Pasteur (by Paul Nadar; Public Domain)

Having worked with perhaps a thousand clients over the course of my career, I have seen the gamut of personalities up close and personal. While most people tend to be rather upbeat and buoyant, at least on the surface, some seem to unwittingly lament everything about life. They have something negative to say about virtually every topic or person discussed; skepticism permeates their being. What a depressing way to go through life. The best way to overcome this condition is to begin consciously looking for the good in both situations and in others. By showing trust and expecting positive outcomes, one’s life becomes increasingly more joyful.
